Health & Wellbeing Event 2008

Saturday 5th July 2008

Saturday 5th July saw the recent graduates of the Health & Wellbeing Adult & Community Education courses that are run from Millers Yard, giving taster treatments to anyone who was interested - now that they are fully qualified practitioners!

Despite the, at times torrential rain, everybody worked together and remained in good spirits to provide a great service to anybody who fancied a little bit of respite from the weather by having a bit of a massage or some relaxing Reflexology.

The fabulous staff of Future Prospects worked hard all day enrolling prospective students for Septembers intake of soon to be qualified therapists and even made time for a little bit of pampering themselves.

A big thank you to all those people who made generous donations for their treatments, we managed to raise about £75 which we took to the Gillygate Surgery to help support their ongoing work with the Gillygate/Ghana link.

If you are interested in any of the Adult & Community Education courses please check the Learning 4 Life brochure or pop into Future Prospects in Swinegate to enrol or simply for some advice.
