AmnesTEA Party!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who took part in our AmnesTEA Party!

It was a great afternoon with lots on offer.  We had the fab exhibition from Mark Haddon, local artist, mountains of cakes and endless cups of tea for all.  Thanks to Willy from York Amnesty who braved the rain delivering posters, badges and all sorts of leaflets to provide people with useful information about the important work that Amnesty does for humans all over the world.  Some people got involved and wrote postcards and personal messages to people far away who are victims of human rights injustices - it will make a big difference to that person - so thank you too.

Massive thanks to all the helpers and washer uppers on the day and those who baked until the early hours to provide us all with such delicious cakes - fantastic!

We managed to raise £207 altogether for Amnesty International. Well done everybody!
