Sew Cool!

When: Saturday mornings

Sew Cool is a Saturday sewing club aimed at 8-16 year olds.

You learn at your own pace but are encouraged to be as creative as possible.

Sew Cool is open to both beginners and those who have some sewing experience.

BEGINNERS

Those who are absolute beginners will work through a learning scheme covering both hand stitching and machine sewing skills. Beginners’ projects include: pincushion, animal toys, dolls, cushions and much more.

INTERMEDIATE

Those with some sewing skills will increase their knowledge and learn new skills such as putting in zips, buttonholes, working with patterns and appliqué/embellishment.

Projects include: bunting, patchwork items, skirts, belts, make up bags, aprons….the only limit is your imagination.

• Classes are in six week blocks and last 75mins.

• Places are limited (8 max)

• Cost is currently £55 (per six weeks) and includes all materials. Bookings must be made in advance.

• When: Saturdays 10am – 11.15am (this class is currently full) Saturdays 11.30am – 12.45pm (places available)

The tutor is a fully qualified teacher and is CRB checked.
