Hopi Ear Candle Therapy

Course description: This is for complementary therapists who are interested in expanding their repertoire.

Hopi Ear candles are a therapeutic treatment to clear the external ear canal based on tribal traditions. The tutor will incorporate facial massage techniques, which also help to clear the sinuses. Although the course is non-accredited, an in-house certificate will be issued on completion of the course.

Tutor demonstrations and input will be followed by student’s practical application of skills and knowledge. Home study and portfolio building are required for this programme.

By the end of the course you should be able to...

  • Have knowledge of the anatomy and functions of the ear and sinuses.

  •  Have knowledge of the history and use of Hopi Ear candles.
  •  Have an awareness of health & safety issues and contraindications to treatment.
  •  Give a Hopi Ear candle treatment safely and effectively.
  •  Give a therapeutic facial massage.
