Kristian was born in Denmark and moved to the North-east of England in 1988. While contemplating studying medicine, he became aware of the benefits of the holistic approach of chiropractic at the age of 14. Of particular appeal was the approach of not just treating symptoms but address lifestyle factors to optimise overall health and wellness and the choice was made to study chiropractic instead.

Following graduation of a three year degree course in Human Biology from Leeds University, he completed the five year Chiropractic degree course at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth in 2003.

Since then he has worked in associate positions in chiropractic clinics in South Shields, Sunderland and Doncaster and has now settled in York to open The Chiropractic Wellness Practice here at Millers Yard.
