I originally completed a degree in Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh in 2002 where I was introduced to some ideas of how acupuncture might work. This intellectual interest evolved when I met an acupuncturist whilst living in Bali. She used a multi bed clinic to treat many patients who were all very happy with the improvements of their varying ailments and I was struck by the logical, coherent and all encompassing approach of acupuncture. I followed my passion by completing three years training at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York and complemented this with courses in Reflexology, Thai Relexology, Swedish Massage and Acupressure I am currently a recognised Acupuncture practitioner and member of the British Acupuncture Council.

At your initial consultation we will talk about the condition you are seeking treatment for as well as your general health, medical history and lifestyle. After the initial questioning, and the checking of your pulse and tongue, I will form a diagnosis, treatment plan and begin the acupuncture treatment. In most cases, the initial treatment is fairly conservative to ensure that you are comfortable and to allow time to see how you respond to acupuncture.

Treatments are available at Millers Yard on a Monday Evening, but other times are available. If you wish to discuss if Acupuncture could be of benefit to you then please contact me.

Please don't contact Millers Yard to book courses, therapies and workshops. Please contact the practioner/teacher directly
