Elaine Wallace

Elaine Wallace achieved her BA(Hons) at Colchester before taking her MA in Music Therapy at Cambridge. Elaine joined the Centre in 1997 having worked at a creative arts centre in Exeter. Elaine's work focuses on mental health, working with adults in two psychiatric hospitals in the York area. Her MA dissertation was on the subject of Music Therapy for elderly people with mental health problems. Elaine plays violin with a variety of bands, including traditional Irish.

Elaine is registered with the Health Professions Council and is a member of the professional body - the APMT (The Association of Professional Music Therapists).
