Keith McKee

Keith is an ITEC and VTCT qualified massage therapist, holding qualifications in holistic and Swedish massage and Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy, gained through the Central College in Manchester. He is currently training in Reflexology and Indian Head Massage and expects to offer these services from Spring 2008.

Keith is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the International Council of Holistic Therapists.

Sports and remedial massage techniques are equally relevant to an office worker suffering from pain as a result of poor posture whilst sitting at their desk, an athlete suffering a torn hamstring, or anyone who has sprained their ankle. Treatments assist the healing and rehabilitation of injuries and dysfunction and help to re-establish the body’s normal patterns of movement.Holistic and Swedish Massage treatments involve using the hands to perform movements on the skin to promote relaxation, healing and wellbeing; improve circulation and the function of the lymphatic system; and to release muscular tension and joint stiffness.

Keith offers treatments in Sports massage and Swedish & Holistic Massage to both male and female clients over the age of 18 years.

Treatments are available at Millers Yard on a Wednesday evening. Treatments are also available in the Pickering, Malton or York areas on a mobile basis, primarily during evenings or weekends, though some weekday daytime treatments may be available.
