Precious Sleep with My Yoga Journey

Many will be familiar with the feeling - a late night, difficulty sleeping or too many early mornings - not only affecting how you feel but impacting on your health and yoga practice.
This workshop looks at some of the scientific evidence that supports the need for a good nights sleep. We will explore ways to improve the quality of sleep and ways to combat insomnia. We will look at the 'relaxation response' and how yoga practice can help the mind and body find calm and relaxation and prepare for sleep.
Wendy Jacob is an experienced yoga teacher and writer with additional training in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
Mats are provided. Please bring a blanket or large towel and a small cushion for additional comfort.
